SmartLipo, Male Breast Reduction, Botox and Tummy Tucks are just some of the procedures on the rise as more and more men seek to look younger and healthier.
Middle Aged just isn't what it used to be and 50 is the new 40 in many parts of the country. Men are turning to Liposuction and the new Laser Lipo known as SmartLipo for chins, love handles and body contouring. Sculpted abs with SmartLipo or Vaser LipoSelection are also becoming increasingly more popular. Men underwent more than 1 million cosmetic procedures last year, an increase of 17 percent from 2006, according to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The major growth area for men has been in nonsurgical procedures such as Botox injections and skin resurfacing. Those jumped 21 percent from 2006 to 2007, the society said.
